Isaac has been performing and teaching music of various genres for over five years, mainly focusing on classical, contemporary, fiddling, and jazz violin styles. His teaching style is also very flexible, able to cater to students of various interests, and he often arrange and teach pieces for his students on request (including pop songs, movie, and game soundtracks etc.). Isaac aims to offer a comprehensive music education on top of technical instrumental skills, including but not limited to theory, aural skills, historical insights, and basic composition skills.
Isaac Zee obtained his master’s degree in music composition in the University of British Columbia, and his works are performed across Canada, featured in high profile festivals like the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra New Music Festival and the Vancouver Sonic Boom Festival.
